2024 Mid-Year Gems Emporium 2024 has continued at the Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on 18-27 November:
- On 20 November, the third day of the Gems Emporium, 100 pearl lots were sold out of 140 pearl lots from lots no (141) to (280).
- On 21 November, the fourth day of the Gems Emporium, 62 gems lots were sold through an open tender out of 160 gems lots from lots no (1) to (160).
- On 22 November, the fifth day of the Gems Emporium, 613 jade lots were sold through an open tender out of 850 gems lots from lots no (1) to (850).
- On 23 November, the sixth day of the Gems Emporium, 615 jade lots were sold through an open tender out of 850 gems lots from lots no (851) to (1700).
- On 24 November, the seventh day of the Gems Emporium, 595 jade lots were sold through an open tender out of 859 gems lots from lots no (1701) to (2559).
Till 24 November, a total of 208 pearl lots and 62 gem lots were sold local and foreign gems traders. Additionally, 4,800 jade lots in groups A, B, and C were offered to be sold through an open tender system during the emporium. Thus, 1,823 jade lots were sold out of 2,559 jade lots.
Likewise, since jade lots in Group (c) were offered to be sold for aiming at MSME entrepreneurs, only local gems traders could purchase them. The floor price of those jade lots was designated to be purchased with Myanmar currency and gems traders needed to purchase them with Myanmar currency.
Patron of the Myanmar Gems Emporium Central Committee Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi observed the tender processes for pearl lots and gave necessary instructions to the officials, it is reported.
