The SAC Member and Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye received a delegation led by Maj-Gen Ajay Kumar Singh, AVSM, SM, Senior Directing Staff of the National Defence College in New Delhi, India, at the Bayintnaung Villa’s reception hall in Nay Pyi Taw on 2 September. During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral friendship and cooperation, training, and academic matters between the two armed forces of both countries in a friendly and open manner. Souvenirs were exchanged following the discussion and then, they posed for documentary photos.
Also present at the meeting were Chief of Armed Forces Training Lt-Gen Htein Win of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and officials, senior officer trainees from the Indian delegation, the Indian defence attaché to Myanmar, and officials, reports say.
