Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant attended the Construction Ministers’ Meeting which was held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhaung Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China, on 15 and 16 September.
On 17 September, Union Minister and party travelled from Nanning to Tengxian. They visited the construction site of the Tengzhou Xunjiang bridge, where a long-span cable-stayed and suspension system combination is currently being built as part of the Pingcen Expressway project. The Union minister and party then proceeded to the construction site of the Tengzhou Tunnel, which is connected to the bridge project. The Union Minister and party arrived back at Myanmar on 18 September.
