The Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung warmly welcomed Air Chief Marshal Alongkorn Vannarot of Royal Thai Air Force with the Guard of Honour at Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw on 15 September and held a meeting at the parlour.
During the meeting, they cordially discussed on the further improvement of friendly relations between the two air forces, conducting rescue and relief measures in natural disasters, exchange of technologies, and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief-HADR measures.
The event was attended by Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, Chief of Staff (Air) Lt-Gen Zaw Win Myint, and senior officiers from Tatmadaw (Air), Air Chief Marshal Alongkorn Vannarot of Royal Thai Air Force, and senior air force officers from the Royal Thai Air Force.
Then, Commander-in-Chief (Air) hosted a working lunch with the Thai Air Chief Marshal at the Ayeyawady Hall of Jasmine Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw. The delegation led by Thai Air Chief Marshal left Nay Pyi Taw Airport and they were seen off by the senior officiers from Tatmadaw (Air) at the airport.
