Handover Ceremony of Relief Supplies Sent from Thailand for Cyclone Mocha Victims in Myanmar Held

A ceremony to donate relief aids sent from Siam Cement Group (SCG), Thai Red Cross Society and Bank of Ayudhya of Thailand for the cyclone Mocha victims in Myanmar was held at Bo Aung Kyaw Jetty in Botahtaung Township on 18 July.

During the ceremony, Thailand Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Mongkol Visitstump delivered remarks on the reasons of relief aids donation. Then, the ambassador handed relief aids such as 650 corrugated iron sheets, three packets of roofing nails, 12 packets of various types of nails, and 20 solar light bulbs (60 watts) over to Yangon Region Chief Minister while the officials from Thai Red Cross Society gave releif supplies donated by Thai Red Cross Society and Bank of Ayudhya to the officials from Myanmr Red Cross Society. The said donated relief aids will be delivered to the cyclone Mocha victims by MCL-3  docked at Bo Aung Kyaw Jetty.
