A Myanmar delegation led by Anti-Corruption Commission Chairman Dr. Htay Aung joined the 4th Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities (GlobE Network) Plenary Session and related meetings which were held at Vienna International Centre on 12 and 13 July through online. They discussed at the meetings as follows:
- At the 4th Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities (GlobE Network) Plenary Session, discussions were made on the ongoing processes in 2023 and future work programmes of the network that was organized to cooperate among member countries in solving the challenges in implementing the facts stated in the United Nations Convention against Corruption.
- At the Webinar on combating cross-border corruption, they discussed on the anti-corruption activities of the Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption, technical assistance, information exchange in combating corruption and international cooperation.
- At the discussion on the impacts of corruption, they discussed on the matters related to analyzing the threat of corruption and the development of the organizational framework.
The meetings were attended by Anti-Corruption Commission Chairman Dr. Htay Aung together with the members of the commission, directors-general and staff from the office of the anti-corruption commission.
