KNLA and PDF Terrorists Launch Drone Attack on 230 kV Substation in Thingan Nyinaung

Terrorists are intentionally attacking and destroying non-military targets of state-owned buildings and civilian residences, wards, villages and townships, schools and religious buildings to harm people’s socioeconomic life and disrupt regional stability, as well as destroying communication towers, electricity towers, and factories.

• On 13 December, KNLA and PDF terrorists launched a drone attack on the 230 kV substation in Thingan Nyinaung Township, Myawady.
• As a result of this attack, the generator circuit breaker of the 50 MVA main transformer, two ceramic insulators and cooling devices for the 20 MVA main transformer in the substation were damaged by the bomb, and the electricity supply to the local people in the township was interrupted.
• The relevant officials are carrying out the repair work on the damaged substation as soon as possible.

A string of terrorist attacks by KNLA and PDF terrorist have inflicted a lot of damage to the socioeconomic life of the local people, and the security forces continues the counter-terrorism operation for regional stability in cooperattion with the public in, it is reported.
