Thai Delegation led by Air Mashal Chainat Phonkit Pay a Visit to Myanmar

According to the agreement of the 7th Air Working Group meeting between the Tatmadaw (Air) and the Royal Thai Air Force, five delegation members led by Air Marshal Chainat Phonkit from the Royal Thai Air Force arrived in Yangon and visited a study tour from 8 to 12 May.

The delegation met the Commander-in-Chief (Air) and the commander of the headquarters of the Flying Training Base and made a discussion between the two countries. They exchanged gifts and took a documentary photo.

They visited Flying Training Base and Air Operation Training School, the gallery at the headquarters of the Flying Training Base and pilot training school. Next, they visited and paid homage to Uppatasanti Pagoda, Maravijaya Buddha Image, Shwedagon Pagoda, Botataung Pagoda and Nyaungpwapin Pagoda. Moreover, they observed the Gems Museum and Bogyoke Aung San Market. The delegation left Yangon for Thailand and was seen off by the Tatmadaw (Air) officers, it is reported.
