Honorary Awards and Certificates of Honour Presented to Artistes who Performed in the Commemorative Drama, and Winners at the Competitions of Military Song, Marching Song, Poem and Story to Mark 78th Anniversary Armed Forces Day

        The awarding ceremony of certificates of honour to artistes who performed in the 78^th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day commemorative drama “A Red Blanket” and winners of military song, marching song, poem and story competitions was held at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw on 27 March. The Chairman of the Leading Committee for Organizing the Armed Forces Day Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, officials and invited guests attended the ceremony.

During the ceremony:

• The Chairman of the Leading Committee for Organizing the Armed Forces Day Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye delivered an honourable speech, and the Chairman of the Psychological and Public Relations Committee, Adjutant-General Lt-Gen Soe Min Oo presented honorary prizes and certificates of honour to the artistes who took part in the Armed Forces Day commemorative drama “A Red Blanket”.
• Then, the Chairman of the Management Committee for Organizing the Armed Forces Day Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Maj-Gen Zaw Hein, and the Chairman of the Manuscript Competition Organizing Committee, Director of the Public Relations and Psychological Warfare Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun presented honorary awards and certificates of honour respectively to the winners in the military song, marching song, poem and story competitions marking the 78^th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day.

        After the ceremony, The Chairman of the Leading Committee for Organizing the Armed Forces Day Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye hosted a tea party for the attendees and cordially greeted them, it is reported.
