The relaxing of public health requirements for travellers who wish to enter Myanmar by international commercial flights were released as follows.

1. The government releases the rules and regulations and rulings for COVID-19 and eases them depending on the infection rate of the COVID-19 in the country as well as in the world countries and regional countries.
2. Meanwhile, the local infection rate declined and the positivity rate reaches under one percent for 14 consecutive days, the positive rate from travellers to Myanmar via international flights is also under one percent and the COVID-19 vaccine coverage is high across the nation. Therefore, the restrictions to take tests with RDT will be relaxed for travellers to Myanmar by international commercial flights if they show COVID-19 vaccination record cards as proof of being fully vaccinated or if the travellers who are not fully vaccinated showing the RT-PCR test results within 48 hours before their arrival to Myanmar at (00:01) hour Myanmar Standard Time on 1-12-2022. The details will be published in “Public Health Requirements for Travellers who Wish to Enter Myanmar through International Commercial Flights” on 1-12-2022.
3. However, the public health requirements for travellers by relief flights and travellers via land borders will remain the same as the requirements were released on 8-10-2022.
