Granting Household Lists and Citizenship Scrutiny Cards to Citizens under Pankhin Project

           The State Administration Council has implemented the Pankhin Project since 3 May 2021. Under the project, measures are being taken to issue citizenship identification cards for over 3.8 million people. Granting household lists and relevant citizenship scrutiny cards under Pankhin project in respective regions/states from 3 May 2021 to 31 December 2021 are as follows –

In line with the guidance of the chairman of the State Administration Council, for ensuring the successful implementation of the Pankhin Project, the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population is reportedly cooperating with relevant administrative bodies of respective regions/ states to continue the works of granting household lists and identity cards to people.

  • A total of 1,349,214 citizenship scrutiny card holders and 275,757 cards of household lists were granted under Pankhin project in respective regions and states from 3 May 2021 to 31 December 2021.
