Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) Meets Myanmar Embassy Staff, Trainees in Cambodia and Visits Special Forces Command of Cambodia

On behalf of the Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, the Myanmar Armed Forces delegation led by Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye left for Phnom Penh of Cambodia from Nay Pyi Taw Airport on 14 March, to attend the 19th ASEAN Chiefs of Defense Forces Meeting (ACDFM-19) hosted by Cambodia. The Myanmar Armed Forces delegation was accompanied by Chief of Staff (Army) Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun and members to attend the 12th ASEAN Military Operations Meeting (AMOM-12) and Chief of Military Security Affairs of the Myanmar Armed Forces Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo and members to attend the 19th ASEAN Military Intelligence Meeting (AMIM-19).

During their visits, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye visited the Myanmar Embassy to Cambodia in the afternoon of 14 March and addressed the staff and their family members from the Embassy and Military Attaché office and trainees. Afterwards, the General handed over foodstuffs and gifts provided by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing for the families and trainees. The Ambassador, the Military Attaché, family members, and trainees received the gifts.

The Myanmar Armed Forces delegation led by Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye accompanied by Myanmar Ambassador to Cambodia U Thit Lin Ohn and Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Thura Hla Min, visited the Special Forces Command of the Cambodia on 15 March. It is reported that the Deputy Commander of the Special Forces explained the history of the Special Forces, records of the participation in military units and disaster relief operations by movie clips at the meeting room of the Special Forces Command.
